FLL 2012

PdS Robotics will field two competitive teams for the FLL 2012 season: Senior Solutions. Teams 1609 and 1611 will proudly represent PdS Robotics!

Fish Mission

Due to hard work and coming in before school and during recess, the fish mission is completed! Each adult fish is worth three points in the base, only if the baby fish is touching its mark at the end of the match. The same program is used for both missions, (1) catching the fish and (2) returning the baby fish to its mark.

Team Practice

The Nanobots are hard at work getting ready for the Regional FLL competition in a few weeks. They are preparing their project presentation, pit-table display, and making the final touches on their project.

Distant Travel

The Quick Response Teams have been hard at work, and the team completed their first mission during Thursday's practice! Four team members have collaborated at various times over the past two weeks to complete this mission. At the end of the competition, the robot must be touching the east wall in order to earn points for the distant travel mission. Great job team!

UW Nanotech User Facility Visit

On Wed. Nov. 2, Los Nanobots were warmly welcomed by the scientists and researchers at the UW Nanotech User Facility. Not only did Los Nanobots learn very interesting facts about working on the nanoscale, they also received feedback on their project from the scientists and researchers. Now they will go back to the drawing board and continue to modify their project based on the feedback.
