Project Planning: Los Nanobots visit their school milk cooler

On September 29, Los Nanobots visited their school milk cooler and listened to a presentation by their lunch lady. We learned that the school milk is delivered two times per week, very early in the morning, in a refrigerated truck. The milk is immediately placed into a milk cooler and kept at, or below, 40 degrees Fahrenheit. If there is a power outage, the milk must be thrown away and cannot be used. The new milk is placed in the back of the cooler and the older milk is moved to the front. The milk date is stamped on the top of the carton.  A lot of energy goes into keeping the milk cool throughout the school day, night and weekends.
